What does Mente Argentina offer?

Mente Argentina has designed a program which will allow you to enter the complex and spectacular world of wine and discover the secrets of the legendary Argentine Malbec.

The objective of the program is to introduce you into the wine world so that you put into practice in your work environment all the knowledge and skills acquired, and, as a wine lover, enjoy good wines with friends whenever you feel like.

The program includes a theoretical-practice course about introduction to wine. Besides, you will have the chance to taste more than 50 exclusive Argentine and Regional Wines.

Some of the topics included in the syllabus are the following: visual and sensory analysis of wine, intensity of colors, vocabulary of tasters, wine production and combinations between wine and food.

• The intensive program lasts 2 weeks and takes place only in the City of Buenos Aires.

• The regular program lasts 1 month and includes a wine trip to the province of Mendoza where you will visit the most important wine cellars while putting your tasting knowledge into practice and at the same time tasting the best wines of the country.

Mente Argentina delivers this course jointly with one of the most renowned schools of the country. Mente Argentina’s program focuses on academic excellence to experience this fine and fascinating path towards the knowledge of wine.

The head of Mente Argentina’s wine school is known for being one of the best sommeliers in Argentina who, together with her staff of experienced teachers in the industry and wine business, shares her passion in a professional and special way.

The school has many headquarters in Buenos Aires which are located in the most exclusive neighborhoods of the city. You will be allocated to the nearest premises from your accommodation.

Do you want to learn or improve your Spanish? (optional)

Mente Argentina offers you the possibility to combine your program with Spanish lessons. In this way, you will be able to learn or improve your Spanish while enjoying a unique experience in Buenos Aires.

Lessons take 4 hours and are delivered from Monday to Friday at the MA Spanish School in reduced groups of up to 8 students. These group classes will be combined with individual lessons so that you can reinforce your weaknesses and we can answer your inquiries in a one on one meeting.

Spanish School's teachers are highly qualified and have a vast experience in teaching Spanish as a second language. Therefore, the classes will be interactive and above all enjoyable!

The classes can be attended both in the morning and the afternoon, so they will not overlap with the activities of your program.

Registration Process

1. Submit the online registration form.
2. Once we receive your registration form, we will send you instructions on how to pay the US$70 registration fee.

*The deadline for registration is at least two weeks before the program starts. Registrations submitted after the deadline will be considered on a case by case basis.
