HIGH SCHOOL IN ARGENTINA: MA HIGHSCHOOL PROGRAM IN BUENOS AIRES

Mente Argentina’s High School Program in Buenos Aires, Argentina provides high school students from all over the world (from 17 to 19 years old) with a unique and exciting opportunity to experience a different culture and make new friends as well as study abroad.

Mente Argentina believes that High school should prepare students for the next step in their education: university life. The high school experience is expected to foster certain abilities, values and attitudes in students so they can move forward with their educational and personal development.

Learning another language and exploring a new culture are formative experiences that contribute to personal development. Based on our former high school students’ experiences, the Mente Argentina High School Program in Buenos Aires facilitates the development of a more independent and confident attitude which is key at this important stage in your life. Due to their international education and travel experience, students will be better equipped to choose a university and begin working toward their future goals as global citizens.

High School Students can enroll in three or six month programs and have the possibility of extending it up to one year depending on the student's preferences.

HIGH SCHOOL IN ARGENTINA: HOST INSTITUTION IN BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA

The high school which works with Mente Argentina has been educating students for more than 50 years. They place a strong emphasis on ethical standards, and operate with the goal of providing students with the tools to become leaders in today’s global society. 

The high school is located in the heart of Belgrano, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in Buenos Aires. It offers a bilingual education program where 40% of the classes are taught in English. It is also well known for its competitive sports programs.

High School Classes are from Monday to Friday from 7:45am to 4:30pm in classes of 25 students or less. If students struggle with either English or Spanish, Mente Argentina offers optional intensive language courses so that they can keep up with the material and pace of the classes.

The high school has extensive experience educating foreign students; it is one of the most popular high schools for foreign families and children of diplomats. Their experience with students from other countries and students with unique academic needs makes it the ideal place for quick integration and a rich academic and personal experience.

MENTE ARGENTINA HIGH SCHOOL PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS

• Must be between 17 and 19 years of age.
• Must be a high school student or equivalent
• Provide two teacher recommendations (to be sent by e-mail or fax)
• Authorization of parents or guardian
• Commit to abiding by Mente Argentina’s rules and maintaining acceptable conduct

Do you want to learn or improve your Spanish? (optional)

Mente Argentina offers you the possibility to combine your High School Program with Spanish lessons. In this way, you will be able to learn or improve your Spanish while enjoying a unique experience in Buenos Aires.

Lessons take 4 hours and are delivered from Monday to Friday at the MA Spanish School in reduced groups of up to 8 students. These group classes will be combined with individual lessons so that you can reinforce your weaknesses and we can answer your inquiries in a one on one meeting.

Spanish School's teachers are highly qualified and have a vast experience in teaching Spanish as a second language. Therefore, the classes will be interactive and above all enjoyable!

The classes can be attended both in the morning and the afternoon, so they will not overlap with the activities of your program.
