Song of the week: Spinetta

-

Luis  Alberto Spinetta
is considered to be one of the fathers of Argentine Rock and overall lyrical “genio”.  Spinetta was born and raised here in Buenos Aires in Belgrano Bajo.  Having made music from 1967-2011, you can hear Spinetta’s music develop and change to reflect the time period ranging from  folklore and tango to jazz and symphonic rock.  His musical incarnations include the bands Almendra, Pescado Rabioso, Invisible, Spinetta Jade, Spinetta y los Socios del Desierto, and various other solo and collaborative projects.

If you are into Argentine Rock, Spinetta is a staple. Enjoy 🙂
