Nico from the US joined us in 2018 for our Photography Program. Here is his Story…
Becoming part of the Mente photography team is such an honor and pleasure for me because, as an aspiring photographer, what better place to travel to than Buenos Aires to enhance my knowledge. I have recently started taking photography courses at my community college however, I crave that experience of being in a foreign country with beautiful customs and a vibrant culture.
After meticulously reviewing what the photography program offers, I was completely convinced that I would 100% benefit from being a part of it. I am a vibrant and creative individual that loves to look at things from different perspectives. It is something that I am so passionate about that I no longer want it to just be a hobby but rather a profession. I have had plenty of hands on practice on my own which has helped me immensely as I try to master my craft.
Argentina is the perfect destination for me to do that for many reasons. Firstly, and most importantly, I speak Spanish fluently. I was able to explore the city and countryside and photograph many breath-taking moments. The culture and atmosphere is the perfect place to study photography. My goal was to use this location to my advantage and improve on as many areas of photography whether it be street photography, landscape, or even wildlife photography. Argentina and Buenos Aires has it all to develop a well-rounded photographer.
