He along with some other well known argentine artists\u00a0would hang out and shoot the breeze about art, philosophy, music etc. at <em>La Cueva<\/em> night club, <em>Norte Hotel<\/em>, and\u00a0<i>La Perla del Once. \u00a0<\/i> These sites were essential to the formation of the genre.\u00a0 They are,<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" size-thumbnail wp-image-3056 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/www.menteargentina.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/01\/DOCUMENTO-BEATNIKS-PAJARITO-DESAYUNAN-PERLA_CLAIMA20101122_0036_8-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"DOCUMENTO-BEATNIKS-PAJARITO-DESAYUNAN-PERLA_CLAIMA20101122_0036_8\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/>perhaps, the equivalent of<em> the\u00a0Chelsea Hotel<\/em> or <em>City Lights<\/em> in the sense that bohemian, artist\/poet\/ bohemian types would meet up and collaborate there. \u00a0The interesting thing about these particular sites is that they promoted rock music with spanish lyrics, whereas the rest of the country was\u00a0producing rock music mainly in English. \u00a0This worked in the movement\u00b4s favor when the Falkland\u00b4s war happened.
