Registration and Registration Fee

In order to confirm your placement and complete the registration process a non-refundable US$ 70 registration fee must be paid. Once paid, there are no refunds given for the registration fee, for any reason or occurrence. If we are unable to confirm your placement, the application fee will be returned in full. The US$70 registration fee is not a part of the total program fee.

Arrival and Departure

Participants must notify Mente Argentina of their scheduled arrival and must also submit an electronic copy of their itinerary by email in order to confirm their arrival and airport pickup. Any changes in arrival or departure must be immediately reported to Mente Argentina in order to avoid complicationse. Mente Argentina Participants are able to begin their accommodation one or two days before their program start date and must leave their accommodation the day after their program ends.

Changes

Each and all changes made to any Mente Argentina Programless than three weeks before his or her scheduled start date will incur a non-refundable change fee of US$ 150. In the event that the participant chooses to extend the duration of his or her program or add a new program, this fee does not apply.

Mente Argentina Cell Phone

Mente Argentina will lend the participant a cell phone during the program duration. A US$50 Security Deposit is required. This deposit will not be refunded in the case that the cell phone is damaged or lost before its return. Before departure, the participant must contact Mente Argentina Staff in order to schedule the return of the cell phone, all of the accessories in order to receive the full refund.

Discounts & Promotions

Discounts and promotions are only valid when the participant's program fee is paid in full before the program start date. In the event that payment is late, the participant will lose any discounts and/or promotions that apply and will need to pay the regular program fee.

Pictures & Images

Mente Argentina reserves the right to use all possible photos taken during the participant's stay in Buenos Aires, Argentina unless the participant otherwise declines in writing.

Participant Behavior

Participants are expected to follow the laws of Argentina and the rules of their accommodation, school and/or placement. Mente Argentina reserves the right to cancel the program (without refund) to any participant whose behavior violates these policies and rules or those of special program providers, tour operators, host families, etc.

Refund Policy*

The following chart detail the refund policy of Mente Argentina. Once program payment is made, refunds are made as a percentage of the remaining program value and the amount of notice given before the cancellation of the program. The date of cancellation will be taken as the date that Mente Argentina receives the written notification.

The eligible refund is calculated as the percentage of the remaining program value using the percentages found in the chart below.

*No refunds are given for partial program cancelations.
**No refund is available for Mente Argentina TEFL Certification Program and Mente Argentina Semester programs.

Liability

Mente Argentina expressly states that it functions only as an intermediary between the travelers and the people and entities that provide them services, having carried out the present operation in name, in part and by order of the service provider. Mente Argentina is not liable for any risks the participant may be exposed to during his or her trip, while staying at the chosen accommodations, while participating in any activities, and/or while attending the chosen schools. By paying the registration fee and signing the Terms and Conditions agreement form, you are assuming all risks and agreeing to indemnify and hold Mente Argentina and its employees harmless of any and all liability that may arise in Mente Argentina ´s programs. These risks may include, but are not limited to: personal injury, property damage,crimes, sickness, accidents, terrorism, and war.

We take your privacy seriously and will take all measures to protect your personal information. Any personal information received will only be used to guarantee the normal operation of your program.
