Mente Argentina Affiliate Program

The Mente Argentina Affiliate Program has been designed for those international representatives, faculty, and educational institutions around the globe that would like to offer their students quality & affordable Study Abroad Programs in Argentina without any investment of time or money and with no commitment of present or future resources.

Our program aims to work directly with your institution in order to expand study abroad access in Argentina to a wider demographic of students.

Your students may already be attending Mente Argentina programs as independent students. The fundamental goal of affiliation is to create a working relationship that will allow Mente Argentina to serve your institution and its students in a better way. To this end, Mente Argentina will provide a fixed grant for each student participating in a Mente Argentina Program. These funds will either be applied directly to your students’ program invoices, or paid to your institution for the administration of grants/scholarships and/or for other support services.

Benefits of Affiliation

Please find below a detailed list of some of the befits of Affiliation with Mente Argentina

1) ADD TO YOUR COUNTRY/PROGRAM OFFERINGS

Expand your institution’s international education department by adding an Overseas campus in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The process is simple, cost-effective, and non-binding.

2) FINANCIAL BENEFITS FOR BOTH YOUR STUDENTS AND YOUR INSTITUTION

Fixed grants are provided for each student participating in a Mente Argentina Program. These funds may either be applied directly to your students’ program invoice, or paid to your institution for the administration of grants/scholarships and/or for other support services.

3) MENTE ARGENTINA AFFILIATE SCHOLARSHIPS (MAAS)

New Mente Argentina affiliates receive two $750 scholarships to award to students attending Mente Argentina programs.

4) ADVERTISING & MARKETING MATERIALS

To help promote international education in Argentina on your campus, Mente Argentina offers up to $1,000 annually in marketing materials to be jointly developed by the Affiliate’s study abroad office and Mente Argentina and bear the Mente Argentina logo.

5) MENTE ARGENTINA GLOBAL COMPETENCE DEVELOPMENT FOR FACULTY AND STAFF

The Mente Argentina Faculty and Staff Tuition Grant program, a professional development opportunity, awards one grant each year to five Mente Argentina Affiliate institutions to allow members of the university’s faculty or professional staff to attend a four-week Spanish Immersion Program at Buenos Aires, Argentina.

This development program not only allows university representatives to gain familiarity with Mente Argentina staff, Mente Argentina facilities and Mente Argentina Local Partners, but also offers a deeper look into Latin American and Argentine culture. Affiliates organizations are encouraged to nominate participants from diverse academic and student service sectors, especially those faculty that have never traveled to Argentina before. We ask the Affiliate institution to cover the cost of airfare and hotel accommodation.

6) PROGRAM SITE VISITS

All Mente Argentina Affiliates are eligible to request to participate in limited-enrollment, scheduled site visits to Buenos Aires, Argentina with field costs covered by Mente Argentina.

What Mente Argentina asks of our Affiliates

As a participant in the Mente Argentina Academic Affiliate Program, we only ask that your institution agree to support study abroad in Argentina.

To this end, Mente Argentina asks affiliate universities, colleges and international representatives to:

Display Mente Argentina Catalogs - Make Mente Argentina Catalogs available for students, display Mente Argentina posters in the Study Abroad Office and/or at other campus locations where permitted.
Provide a link to Mente Argentina - To provide a link to the Mente Argentina website from its study abroad website.
Transfer Credit - Assist students in transferring academic credit from courses taken through Mente Argentina study abroad programs
Process Financial Aid - To facilitate, when possible, the use of applicable financial aid and loans by its students who are eligible for such aid and who wish to study abroad in Argentina with Mente Argentina.
Promote Visits - Help with arrangements for Mente Argentina representatives to organize an online conference/meet with prospective students, including study abroad fairs, classroom/office visits or tables on campus, when appropriate.
