Mente Argentina Partnership Program Overview

Mente Argentina has developed its Partnership Program in order that University-level faculty and other educational professionals may conveniently offer customized faculty-led and group integrated learning experiences that allow students to explore specific, tailor made educational content while discovering a new culture and city.

Mente Argentina Partnership Program are formal arrangements between educational institutions and Mente Argentina in which Mente Argentina provides logistical support, student services, classrooms, housing facilities and cultural immersion  activities at Buenos Aires, Argentina. Faculty from the home institution teach their curriculum in Buenos Aires, Argentina (with optional use of local adjunct professors), and therefore the home institution maintains academic control over the program.

• Buenos Aires Welcome Orientation Meeting

  Students will receive an exclusive informational orientation about Buenos Aires, Argentina including the following overviews:

  • Mente Argentina Educational policies (academics, code of conduct, housing, etc.)
  • Health and safety
  • Insurance
  • Emergency Contacts
  • Basic “Buenos Aires Survival” workshop (Spanish Language, transportation tips, Buenos Aires Maps, information centers, etc.)

  Mente Argentina will arrange the accommodation for both students and faculty, if required. All the accommodation provided is located in the most exclusive neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, with a high level of access to public transportation, in order to ensure convenience and comfort throughout the duration of the program.

• On-Site Exclusive Program Coordinator

  Mente Argentina assigns an exclusive non-academic Program Coordinator in Buenos Aires, Argentina who is responsible for day-to-day running of the program and coordinating logistical support for the students and professors. 
  
  Unlike other programs providers, as we are EXCLUSIVELY located in Buenos Aires. In addition, we have a fully equipped student reception office, as well as our entire on-site Management Team, allowing us to quickly solve any issues that may arise before, during or after the programs ends.

  Partnership Program participants will not only have the possibility to consult with their personal program coordinator during the assigned duration. Students have the opportunity to go to this office at any time to resolve any issues that may arise.

  Faculty and staff from visiting institutions will have full access to Mente Argentina’s Student Reception Office for use as an “office away from home.”
  This includes office space, the use of computers and printers, Internet access and professional connections to local expertise related to your area of interest or research.

Mente Argentina Partnership Program Models & Examples

Mente Argentina Custom programs can either build upon on one of our existing Mente Argentina programs, or can be designed from scratch in order to allow ultimate flexibility within Mente Argentina’s possibilities.

SUGGESTED TIMELINE

Please find below a suggested 5 stage timeline. We strongly recommend to start planning as soon as there is an interest, as advanced planning is essential for a successful program.

10-12 months before program start date, discuss program ideas and objectives and begin developing a program proposal with Mente Argentina Partnership Program Advisors.

8-9 months before program start date, define the various elements and conditions of the agreed upon program in order to finalize your Mente Argentina Program Agreement.

6-8 months before program start date, begin actively marketing your customized Mente Argentina Program. Mente Argentina Partnership Programs Staff is ready to assist and collaborate with you on multiple marketing approaches including but not limited to individualized online marketing campaigns, email advertising, and custom printed materials such as posters, flyers, and brochures.

2-6 months before program start date, begin student enrollment and finalize any pending academic or logistic details. Pre-Departure Advising should begin now.

1 to 2 months after program completion, participate in an active program evaluation and review student comments about their experience.
