Hi, my name is Amber. I am Vietnamese-English, I live in Germany at the moment and I just recently completed a course in journalism. What I needed was tangible work experience before I could get a job in Germany basically. While I was in Buenos Aires I was placed with two companies and they were both really profitable in the long run because in one I was doing more oral work like presenting on the radio and interacting with people and then writing a newsletter whereas in the other placement I was in more of an office environment doing work with websites and a little bit of coding but mostly content writing. All in all I had no idea that it was going to be this good. I thought it was going to be like in university where you go to your classes and complete assignments but it really was a whole experience where I assimilated with Argentine culture and everybody is so welcoming. Everybody is so keen to share their bit- their understanding of Argentina with you. So even though I’ve only been here for one month I feel like I’ve been here for much longer thanks to all of these people that I’ve met. It was a fantastic opportunity so I’d definitely recommend that you go with Mente.Internship Program @ Mente Argentina - Amber
