About the Program
You complete the internship remotely from your home country while working with an organization connected to Argentina. Mente Argentina matches you according to your background, interests, goals, availability and current host opportunities, and you contribute to real projects with supervision from the host and support from Mente.
Remote placements can be offered across different professional fields depending on your academic background, skills, interests, dates and current host availability. Tell us the industry or role you want so we can confirm what is realistic for your profile.
You can specify the industry, organization type, role and professional experience you want us to target. After your application documents and a one-to-one video interview, Mente Argentina normally prepares approximately 2–5 matched placement options for you to rank in order of preference.
Because matching depends on fit and host availability, we cannot guarantee one specific company before the process, but we work from your ranked choices when confirming the placement.
Online internships are normally part-time, typically around 10–20 hours per week. If your university requires a different weekly commitment or a specific total number of hours, send us the requirement before matching so we can confirm an appropriate structure.
No. Spanish is not required for the Online Internship Program; we match the placement accordingly. The current program also includes 10 hours of private online Spanish at no extra cost, so you can develop language skills alongside the internship.
Yes. The online placement includes host supervision and ongoing support rather than simply introducing you to an organization and leaving you to manage the experience alone. Mente Argentina remains available if questions or issues arise during the placement.
Yes. After successfully completing the Online Internship Program, you receive both a Mente Argentina Certificate of Completion and a certificate or professional reference from your host organization.
Choose Online Internship if you want international professional experience without relocating. Choose the Buenos Aires Internship Program if you want the placement combined with living in the city, in-person work, the Mente participant community and the broader cultural experience of Argentina.
Booking and Payments
Create your Mente Argentina account, complete the online application and pay the USD 70 Registration Fee to confirm your place. Our team will then contact you with the scheduling or onboarding steps for your specific program.
For every online product, the Registration Fee counts toward the total program price rather than being added on top. For example, if an online program costs USD 350, a USD 70 Registration Fee leaves USD 280 remaining.
Remote Work and Support
No. Mente Argentina's online programs are designed to be taken from anywhere in the world. You need a reliable internet connection and a suitable device for your classes or remote work.
If you later decide to come to Buenos Aires, we can also help you continue with an on-site program.
Mente Argentina uses Argentina Time (ART), UTC−3, year-round. Argentina does not currently observe daylight saving time.
For live classes or meetings, we confirm the agreed schedule clearly so you can follow it in your own local time.
Yes. Many online products can be a first step before an in-person experience in Buenos Aires. We can help you choose the appropriate on-site continuation based on what you studied or completed online.
