About the Program
Online University Spanish is designed for students who want Spanish study with an official university transcript and the possibility of transferable academic credit. Regular Online Private Spanish prioritizes flexible language learning; Online University Spanish follows an academic credit pathway connected to an Argentine university.
The current Online University Spanish Program uses academic pathways connected to the University of Buenos Aires (UBA) or Universidad Abierta Interamericana (UAI), depending on the option selected.
A 4-week academic block can represent approximately 3–8 U.S. semester credits or 6–16 ECTS credits, depending on the university option and workload. Your home institution makes the final transfer decision.
You can enroll without prior approval, but if the credits need to count toward a degree, pre-approval is strongly recommended. Mente Argentina can provide course descriptions, syllabi and supporting documents for your academic advisor or study abroad office.
The program is organized in 4-week academic blocks and can be taken for approximately 4 to 24 weeks. You can complete one block or continue through multiple blocks depending on your language and credit goals.
The program uses personalized one-to-one online instruction, so teaching can be adapted to your level and academic needs while still following the university-credit framework.
All levels are welcome, including complete beginners. We assess your starting level before the program begins so the UBA or UAI academic pathway can be matched appropriately to your current Spanish.
Yes. You can begin University Spanish online and later continue with Spanish or a broader study-abroad experience in Buenos Aires. That can help you improve your language before travel while already making academic progress.
When your academic option includes university credit, you receive the corresponding official transcript showing the coursework you completed and your academic results. Your home institution makes the final decision about how those credits apply toward your degree.
If credit transfer matters to you, ask your academic advisor or study abroad office for pre-approval before the program. Mente Argentina can provide syllabi, course descriptions and supporting documents for that review.
Booking and Payments
Create your Mente Argentina account, complete the online application and pay the USD 70 Registration Fee to confirm your place. Our team will then contact you with the scheduling or onboarding steps for your specific program.
For every online product, the Registration Fee counts toward the total program price rather than being added on top. For example, if an online program costs USD 350, a USD 70 Registration Fee leaves USD 280 remaining.
Academic programs have university calendars, document requirements and limited enrollment periods, so applying early is strongly recommended.
You can begin the Mente Argentina application before every document is ready. If your preferred intake is approaching, contact us so we can confirm what can still be completed in time.
