Mente Argentina
Madison's Academic Semester Experience in Buenos Aires
Madison's experience with Mente Argentina
Madison, from St. John University, names three things that made her stay in Buenos Aires amazing. First, her host family, an awesome family where she could be herself, who talked with her and made her feel part of the family. Second, Mente, which kept sending emails about new things to do and people to meet, stayed in contact, checked up on her and made sure she was okay. Third, the culture, which she encourages others to really get involved with: the people are very friendly, love meeting people from outside Argentina, and make it easy to feel like you belong.

Hello, I'm Madison Pelgrino, from the Mente Argentina program. Three things I'd really like to bring to your attention that made my stay here amazing. The first was my host family, Christina Camelman. It's an awesome family. You can be yourself. They converse with you. They make you feel part of the family. The second was Mente, and all the emails they gave us, always new things to do and people to meet. They really kept in contact with you, checked up on you, and made sure that you were okay. The third was the culture here, which you should really get involved with. The people are really friendly. They love people who are not from Argentina, and it's really easy to feel like you belong.
