Simon's experience with Mente Argentina

Simon, from Hong Kong, spent four weeks in Buenos Aires with Mente, taking Spanish classes throughout while also doing the wine program and the barman program, both of which he found really fun. In the barman course he learned to mix cocktails, picked up a little flair and created his own signature cocktails. The wine program covered the history and industry of Argentine wine, including the world-famous Torrontés. He says Mente was extremely helpful and arranged so many programs and activities that his weeks were packed. He calls Buenos Aires amazing, from the culture and the people to the bife de chorizo and the wine, and his advice is simply to enjoy it.

Hi, my name is Simon. I'm from Hong Kong. I came on the Mente program for four weeks in Buenos Aires. During these four weeks I did the Spanish class for four weeks. At the same time I did the wine program and a barman program. Both are really fun. In the barman program we learn about mixing cocktails and a little bit of flair. At the same time we create our own signature cocktails. In the wine program we learn a lot about Argentine wine history, the industry, and everything about Torrontés, which is world famous. During these four weeks Mente was extremely helpful, and they arranged lots and lots of fun programs and activities for us, so it is packed with activities. I am really glad. This is amazing here in Buenos Aires. The culture, the people, the bife de chorizo, and the wine. Everything is great, so enjoy it.
