Mente Argentina
Julien's Intensive Spanish Experience in Buenos Aires
Julien's experience with Mente Argentina
Julien, from Canada, spent seven weeks in Buenos Aires taking intensive Spanish classes. He strongly recommends living in an apartment, to everyone: sharing with other foreigners means people to party and go out with, and roommates who have been in the city longer help you get to know it faster. He sees it as a great way to live like an Argentine, down to riding the bus with a SUBE card. He describes Buenos Aires as a safe city with good, inexpensive food, a great place to go out and full of really nice people, and he definitely recommends it.

Hi, my name is Julien. I'm from Canada. I was in Buenos Aires for seven weeks for intensive Spanish classes. I lived in an apartment, which I would recommend to everyone, because you get to live with other foreigners. You get to party with them and go out. It's easier to get to know the city because they've been here for a while. I think living in an apartment is a great way to live like an Argentine person. You get to take the bus with them with a SUBE card. I definitely recommend an apartment. Buenos Aires in general is just great. It's a safe city. There's good food, and food is cheap. It's a good place to go out, and the people in general are really nice. I would definitely recommend the city for sure. I hope this helps, and thank you.
