Sophie, from New York, spent about three and a half months with Mente in Buenos Aires, living in a really nice apartment in Recoleta. Her Spanish improved a lot thanks to good teachers and small classes. Her internship at a Recoleta gallery was incredible, showing her how the art world works in Buenos Aires, very different from New York, with great colleagues, an amazing boss and concerts along the way.

Hi, I'm Sophie. I'm from New York, and I was with Mente in Buenos Aires for three months, three and a half months. I stayed in Recoleta, in a really nice apartment. I really feel like I improved my Spanish a lot, with good teachers and fewer classmates, and my internship was incredible. I went to a gallery, also in Recoleta, and I got to see how the art world works in Buenos Aires, which is just really, really different from New York. I met incredible other employees who worked there, and my boss was amazing. I had a great time with the company, and with the concerts that were happening. Overall it was just an excellent experience.
