Mente Argentina
Mike's Internship Experience in Buenos Aires
Mike's experience with Mente Argentina
Mike, from the University of Michigan, lived alongside many students from his own program and others, which he says was an experience in itself and really cool. Much of what Mente offered his group was tours and activities. Two highlights were Fuerza Bruta, which he describes as a big stomp-style show, and playing soccer with local Argentines, both very cool yet very different experiences. City tours of historic areas were helpful and insightful for someone who wanted to learn the city inside and out. He says Mente Argentina provided everything he could have imagined and calls it a great experience.

Hi, I'm Mike Justice. I'm from the University of Michigan, and I'm living with a lot of other kids from my program and from other programs as well. That alone was enough of an experience for me. It's really cool. For me specifically, a lot of what they put forward for us was tours and different activities. Fuerza Bruta, which was a very big stomp show, and playing soccer with local Argentines were both very cool experiences, but very different at the same time. Along with city tours of very historical areas, it was very helpful and insightful for someone who really wanted to learn the city inside and out. Mente Argentina really provided every single thing that I could have imagined, and it was a great experience.
